The Business PAC (BizPAC) of Central Illinois recently named Peoria City Councilman, Denis Cyr, as the recipient of its inaugural Business Champion of the Year Award. The award is given to an elected official with the highest score on the BizPAC scorecard, which monitors voting records that best align with the needs of businesses and positive business initiatives in Central Illinois.

“Councilman Cyr had a perfect score on our BizPAC scorecard which means he has been a great champion for businesses in Central Illinois,” said Sean Garrett, BizPAC Chairman. “We really appreciate having an open dialogue with him and he’s been a great representative for the 5th District.”
